The power is delivered from within the bafang rear hub motor, a brand who is quickly establishing themselves as one of the leading bicycle motor brands with excellent build quality, performance, and value for money.

With 32nm of torque, the spire 2.0 delivers plenty of power to keep the wheels turning up dragging hills and make flat terrain a breeze. The battery uses high quality cells from samsung, another leading brand in the electric bike industry and all pass the most stringent safety and performance tests required by uk and eu law for peace of mind. The battery can be charged on or off the bike, with a complete charge from flat within 6 hours and is easily removed without tools for added convenience. An integrated battery lock ensures peace of mind when left in public.

The stylish centre-mounted display makes monitoring your ride information super-easy and you can cycle through the different functions using the side-mounted remote. This intuitive computer system offers 5 power assist modes and, current speed, average speed, max speed, trip distance and trip time. To make things easy when off the bike, we've fitted a walk assist mode that engages the motor to help drive the bike when pushing up steep hills.
