The Chic’s delicate floral design is influenced by the tropical paradise beaches of Mexico that the White Cosmos flower is native to. Metallic pastel paint finishes create the perfect sophisticated look for the range and the Chic 16 in Pink is perfect for little girls embarking on their first cycling adventures without stabilisers.

The lightweight Aluminium frame is easy to manoeuvre and has been adapted with a lower top tube to make getting on and off easier for your little girl even in her summer dresses. The Chic features low rise handlebars which help to promote a good riding position and ensure children are more aware of their surroundings plus the Aluminium prop stand is the perfect solution to keep the bike clean and prevent damage.

The Chic 16 has been designed without gears to make your child’s transition to a bike without stabilisers hassle free. Narrow tyres have been selected for this model which feature a modern small block tread pattern making the wheels slimmer and lighter than the majority of the other children's bikes on the market. These tyres are suitable for riding on all terrains including traffic free paths, roads and light trails.

Aluminium V-brakes have been added to the Chic for safe stopping plus a V-brake modulator has been included which regulates the force applied to the front aluminium V-brake resulting in smoother braking. The aluminium and resin brake levers featured on the bike have been selected to be easily operated by little fingers, an adjustment screw is also fitted allowing you to alter the sizing dependent on the size of your child’s hands.

Safety is a key concern when designing our children’s bikes and all components are designed to make riding as safe as possible for your child. Aluminium wheel rims have been added to provide an improved surface for the brake blocks to brake against plus Raleigh’s special junior non-slip pedals have been fitted featuring rubber pads to prevent feet slipping off. Each pair of non-slip pedals is carefully colour matched to fit the bike design.
